Lot of events and changes are gone, I miss all those posts in my blog


Now I am in Dubai, and having a new life, Flip Media and Friends.

Pictures are taken with my new sony cybershot W35 digital camera with 7.2 Megapixel and Carl Zeiss lens. Imthiaz and we went for GITEX, one of the big electronics shopping festival last week and done some shopping. Pradeep and shameer bought new laptops, me bought a Motorola S9 stereo bluetooth headset. It is realy nice to hear music with new stereo hand free.

People use IE - they are two years back in web.
There was web sites that viewable only in IE - “Please ban those sites.” - Now there is websites to say “only for Firefox”.
Firefox usage increasing day by day - it is just started. “to conquer the web”

Yes, there is lot of truth in those points.And Firefox is more loved by its new features and extensions.

All browsers have their on strengths and Issues. To cop with this changing web they need regular updates. Firefox is open source, the development will always try to archive open standards. IE is developed proprietary,they will include proprietary components like activex for their users, thus standards may be less cared.

It’s an awesome piece of software, it’s called WordPress
It manages my blog, it makes it look real nice
I installed in in 5 minutes, this things slicker than ice
All I had to do, was click on Next
Within seconds I was running, no room to get vexed

It’s my CMS
It’s the best thing to hit the web since porn
The code is open, the source is free
It’s available for people, just like you and me

Once I picked my title and wrote a description,
I clicked on manage, I needed to do so me fixin’
I deleted Hello World, got rid of first comment, too
I clicked on View Site and all I saw was plain blue
I moved to Presentation, there were some nice looking themes
But none fit my style, none screamed Devin Reams

After I tweaked the code and played with CSS
I installed myself some plugins, I was real impressed
They organized my archives, they helped me tag, too
Then I installed a spam blocker not a single one came through
I added movie ratings and book ratings as well
Now when people visit me they’ll know that Crank was hell

I was thrilled and excited, I wanted to to talk to her
She said she knew my hometown, what I looked like, too

It have a lot of options for writing different type of disks

There we can see options to write eMovie disks.You need to have eMovix pakage installed on the system to use this options. You can find it from eMovix Project site..

What is eMovie Disk?

It is a bootable Live CD, micro linux distribution (upto max 7 MB) with Mplayer and LIRC on it. k3b will give option to fine tune your eMovix disk. We can include any type of Media files to the Disk with k3b. Mplayer supports almost all media types and is best for playing videos with full quality and hardware support. With k3b I can fully customize the eMovix interface with background videos and more.

Thus once an eMovie Disk is burned it will be your portable standalone Media Center. Just put the CD and boot the system you can enjoy the media. No need of any OS or Software. This will work on old systems with less memory and even without a Hard Disk. See the screen of eMovie disk in action. I can use my pinnacle TV cards Remoe control to control the media center on my system.

GeexBox - Live Media Center in a Mini CD

GeeXboX is a full project that develops a Mplayer based, Linux Live Media center. It will boot from the disk and play anything in the Hard disks, Optical disks, TV cards Network Locations etc.

GeexBox Generator will give complete options to customize this Distro in an easy user friendly GUI. We can change the interface theme, add our own LIRC remote control, install extra packges and kernel modules, and make support for custom hardwares like bluetooth remotes etc.
